Lumina

Bathroom Collection

Design

Piero Lissoni

Lumina Pure Vortex® is a sanitary ware collection designed by Piero Lissoni, a project that interprets the bathroom through a rigorous process of formal reduction. Calibrated volumes, continuous surfaces and carefully measured proportions shape compact, minimal and fluid objects in which function and design language merge into a coherent system. The result is a discreet and sophisticated architectural presence, capable of engaging with space through balance and precision.

Lumina incorporates the PURE VORTEX® flushing system, selected for the ADI Design Index 2023, making performance a structural component of the project.

The optimisation of water flow enhances hydraulic efficiency, quietness and bowl cleanliness, contributing to more conscious water use. In the wall-hung toilet, the trap is completely concealed within the ceramic body, allowing a total height of just 325 mm while maintaining a compact and slender silhouette. The elimination of external technical volumes reinforces the perception of lightness and formal continuity. The bidet, available in both floor-standing and wall-hung versions, introduces an overflow system incorporated into the ceramic drain siphon, activated by water pressure. This solution removes the traditional front hole, preserving the purity of the volume and improving visual clarity. The collection is completed by a top-fixing system for the wall-hung toilet and fully concealed wall fixings, ensuring installation precision and maximum aesthetic integrity. Lumina is available in a wide and refined colour palette — glossy, matt and semi-gloss finishes — designed to dialogue with contemporary architecture and expand the compositional possibilities of the bathroom space.
